Weight Loss Salmon And Veggies Recipe

If you want to have fish for dinner, and looking for a quick recipe which is healthy and helps you lose
weight, then Salmon is the best choice you have. Salmon is rich in omega-3 Fatty Acids, a great source of protein, high in vitamin B, selenium, Potassium and the list goes on. This recipe is super easy and healthy. I am giving the recipe for one quick meal.

Preparation Time: 20 min       Cooking Time: 20 min 

  • 1 Salmon Fillet (skinless)

  • 5 Broccoli Florets

  • 1 Small Zucchini

  • 1 Small Onion

  • 1 Sweet Potato

  • Salmon Seasoning:

    1. 1 1/2 tbsp. Olive Oil

    2. 1/4 tsp. Turmeric Powder

    3. 1/2 tsp. Cumin Powder

    4. 1/2 tsp. Coriander Powder

    5. 1 Lemon

    6. 1 tsp. Ginger & Garlic paste

    7. 1/4 tsp. Salt and Pepper

    8. Oregano(optional)

    9. Paprika(optional)

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F

    PREPARATION & SEASONING :

    1. Mix all of the seasonings in a small bowl.

    Paprika is optional, I add it to my seasoning because I am a heavy spicy eater and I like the smokey flavor that comes with paprika.

    2. Pat dry salmon fillet with a paper towel, try to squeeze lightly for any extra water. Now, brush this mixture on both sides & sprinkle some oregano if you like. Keep rest of the seasoning for later. Place it on a baking tray, let it sit for 5-10 min.

    3. Cut your vegetables in small size and put them on a baking tray, seasoned them with 1 tsp olive oil,  1/4 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper and mix them well so that all the vegetables are nicely coated. You can use any vegetables you like.

    COOKING :

    1. Now place both the trays in the oven.

    2. Take the fish out after 10 min and brush it with rest of the seasoning and put it back for another 5 minutes.

    3. After another 5 minutes, it's done. So the total cooking time for fish is 15 min. If you like it extra well done, you can give few more min.

    4. After 10 min, take the vegetables out, stir the vegetables and put them back again for another 10 min.

    5. Now your vegetables are done too.You can also place your vegetables in the oven a few minutes earlier than fish so that you don't have to wait for them later since fish cooks faster.

    6. Total cooking time for vegetables is 15-20 minutes depending on the vegetables you choose.
