Herbal Tea To Lose Weight And Detox The Liver

Detoxifying our body is a way of helping and thanking our body for working so hard for us. It is a process of helping our organs to get rid of toxins by giving them a little break from bad food and by eating the foods that our body actually likes.

What Is Detoxification? Detoxification is the process of getting rid of toxins ( free radicals, metals, pollutants, pesticides, chemicals, extra hormones, artificial foods etc. ) from our body by boosting it with certain foods, fruits, teas or supplements. There are many Detox Cleanse available like detox teas, detox kits and detox supplements for different organs or for the whole body. I personally avoid them and like to go with fresh herbal detox with all the natural ingredients. And it also helps in losing weight.


So Let's talk about Ingredients: 

4-5 Holy Basil Leaves Or 1 tsp Holy Basil Powder
4-5 Fresh Mint Leaves
1/2 tsp Fennel Seeds
1/4 tsp Ajwain
1 tsp Ginger Juice 
1/2 Lemon
1/2 tsp Honey

All these above ingredients have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antifungal and antibacterial properties.

Preparation time: 10-15 min


let's start making the natural Detox Tea. Add basil leaves, mint leaves, fennel seeds, Ginger juice and Ajwain in 3 cups of water and start boiling it. Once it starts boiling, turn on the medium heat and let it cook for 10 minutes. It will soak all the good stuff from those leaves, Ginger, and seeds. Let it cook until you are left with 1 cup of water and then take it off the stove.

Now, your tea is ready. Add lemon and honey to it. I promise you, It will be the most delicious detox tea you have ever tried. Drink this tea 3 times a day for one whole month along with healthy eating. You can also drink this tea for the treatment of upset stomach, vomits and nausea.

Food That Should be Avoided For Better Results:
1. Meat
2. Dairy
3. Fried Food
4. Junk Food
5. Salty Food
6. Refined Sugar
7. Refined Oil
8. Protein Diet At Night Time
9. Caffeine
10. Alcohol

By avoiding these foods, the tea will have better effect and you will see better results. By avoiding these foods you will also give liver some rest and see good results on weighing scale. I hope you like and enjoy this delicious, healthy Detox tea.
